I am not sure if this will work for you, but have you checked out Wasp Net? It includes a keyboard wedge scanner and labeling software that will read your QB file items. They print the labels from the Wasp to a label printer and can scan the items into QB for all the functions you listed. The product is available at CompUSA for around $200.00 and the printer depends on what you want.
