Well said, friend! I’m a 30 year old conservative and I loved Russert, because he was the last of the TRUE journalist who asked tough questions! RIP Tim.

If only MSNBC could put the same effort into the presidential election or the War as the put into do nothing Tim’s death they would be unstoppable.
They spent over week blabbering about how good Tim was, yet the ignored the News.
What happened to news.

Who the hell gives 3 shits about Tim Russert? he was just another over paid talking head hack. Journalist my balls, the news has been canceled for at least 20 years. A outsourced dot head from India could do a better job of the so called journalism that Russert did and for a hell of alot less money. The circle jerk going on over this over paid hack is truly disgusting

I always felt that Tim Russert was a fun-loving regular person behind the professional persona, whenever I watched MTP. The touching memorial service last week & countless tributes from those who knew him well is proof enough that Tim lived his life honestly. God took him because he needed another angel up in Heaven to watch over us! As the Billy Joel song goes, “Only the Good Die Young”. Tim, may you rest in peace.

He was a good man, respectful to others, he was wonderful to his friends, his family and lived clean….it’s nice that he is getting all these wonderful tributes—he deserves it.
To the people who come on these videos and rip apart someone as lovely as Mr. Russert, it speaks volumes of what kind of idiot you are…you just need attention and it is desperate and sad!

you’re a very sad person who seriously needs some therapy. I feel very bad for you but I guess I shouldn’t feel anything at all for you since you don’t seem to care about anybody else. So sad.

Not being able to tell exactly what you think for so long, must have some affect on a person. Well it did…
It’s Sunday it’s Meet the Press without Mr Russert will never be the same. I’ll for sure miss him.

I liked & admired Tim Russert A LOT. He was lied about by Scooter Libby. Libby said that Russert ‘outted’ Valerie Plame to him on the phone . Pat Fitzgerald wanted Tim to testify. NBC’s lawyers tried to stop it, based on confidentiality of sources 1st Amendment right that press industry uses. Eventually Tim had to testify & truth came out under oath. Russert testified that he did NOT DISCUSS & did NOT LEAK Valerie Plame to Libby in that conversation. Fitz used this to indict Libby for perjury!

From a person who lives in Australia let me say that there was no clearer voice of integrity in the U.S. media than Tim Russert. I watch MTP every single week and have done so fo many years. He will be missed more than I can say. My heart goes to his family. R.I.P. Tim

For time Russet’s family, friends, and viewers, this Friday the 13th was a tragic day. Tim Russet always gave his interviewees a fair, informed, and respectful attitude. And he gave us, the viewers, enough information to make clear, intellegent choices for the people we vote into office. I will miss Tim. It’s a sad day for those in America who appreciated the truth. My condolences to his friends and family.

As a political news junkie and fan of ‘Meet the Press’, the world mourns a great loss in american journalism and the human spirit of mankind. You were always fair and focused on the facts. You will be greatly missed Tim Russert. Rest in Peace.
