How do I fix the fastenings on my coffee table?
Chasing.Comets asked:
My coffee table is constantly wobbly no matter how often I tighten the nuts underneath. The legs have the bolt built in and then it is fed through a hole in the table top where a nut and washer are tightened to hold the leg in place. I like to put my feet up on the table and even if I tighten the nuts as tight as I can get them, they seem to get loose within a few days. Is there any other hardware that I can use to keep the legs on my table secure?

Hi,
Is a flat washer used or a lock washer. Lock washers usually stay put. It’s possible the threads are wearing out. Take apart the legs & try dabbing a small amount of gorilla glue on the surface that touchesthe table, tighten & let it set overnight.

Get a couple of lock washers and replace the flat washers. They apply resistance when tightened. Or you can apply some lock-tight sealant to the treads to stop the nut from slackening.. Or remove the leg and place liquid nail between the leg and table connection; tighten..
